Meet Dr.Madison Helms (Lowell, MA)
Dr. Madison Helms, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2025. She earned her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Pre-Clinical Studies from Assumption University in 2021.
Dr. Helms knew from a young age that she wanted to work in healthcare, but it was her grandmother's experience with vision loss that ultimately led her to optometry. Seeing firsthand how much we rely on our vision inspired her to pursue a career focused on protecting and preserving this essential part of everyday life. She is passionate about helping her patients continue seeing, doing, and enjoying the things that matter most to them.
Dr. Helms especially enjoys the relationships she builds with her patients and considers the people she meets one of the most rewarding parts of being an optometrist. She is committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care and welcomes the opportunity to help patients maintain healthy vision throughout their lives.
